Synthetic Street:
Reimagining New York Through Neural Lenses
This ongoing visual project explores the convergence of urban memory and artificial imagination. Starting from my original street photography across New York City, I employed generative AI to re-render each moment—transforming documentary-style realism into stylized visual narratives that echo the tone of graphic novels and speculative futures.

Inspired by the human-machine collaboration concept central to cAI™ Lab, Synthetic Street investigates how neural networks reinterpret space, light, and urban rhythm. Each image reflects not only the city’s architectural and emotional weight, but also the machine’s ability to hallucinate new visual logics.

This series serves as a personal study in post-photographic aesthetics, blending my background in traditional photography, AI engineering, and narrative curation. Through this hybrid lens, I hope to further engage with cAI™ Lab's ongoing dialogue between computational systems and human creativity—and to contribute meaningfully to future exhibitions or tool development.
